Scott Nolen believes in education, transparency, honesty and integrity, qualities he learned from his parents and Grandparents.  He feels that his firm is here to serve others, and there is great nobility in that cause. Scott takes a great deal of time in getting to know every person he sits down with, so their retirement plan is customized to them and designed to achieve their unique goals.  Scott began his career nearly 30 years ago immediately after earning his bachelor’s degree in Finance from Southeast Missouri University and has worked on a national level with several top-tier financial planning firms.  His passion for educating others extends to teaching other advisors in the industry his best practices.  

Scott focuses on personal financial planning and wealth preservation for those close to and already in retirement, their families and legacy planning for their heirs.  He brings a passion for helping people identify, achieve and protect their retirement lifestyle dreams. He understands the complexities of the changing financial climate and will always make recommendations that are in his client’s best interests. 

Scott has lived in St. Louis for most of his life, having moved to the area in 1980.  Scott is happily married to his wife of 26 years, Aimee; and he has two sons Jacob (25) and Bryce (23) and two grandchildren Cooper (3) and Marcella (3 mos).  When he is not working, Scott enjoys spending time with family and friends, Barbequing and working around the house.

Tom was born and raised in Edwardsville, IL, where most of his family still live. He played just about every sport growing up as a child, but basketball and golf were the two that really caught his interest in high school. Tom was then fortunate enough to receive an athletic scholarship to play Division 1 golf at Eastern Illinois University.

Upon graduating, Tom immediately stepped into the financial services industry and specialized in insurance, including Medicare, Annuities and Life Insurance for 6 years. He now specializes in Holistic Financial Planning, helping families reach their true peace of mind in retirement. Tom believes educating families will help them achieve this peace of mind, and he enjoys doing this through associations like AFEA. He lives his life motto by a quality that his mother instilled in him, “treat others the way you want to be treated”.

Tom now resides in St. Louis, spending his free time staying active, playing golf, as well as setting up numerous golf outings and charity events. He also enjoys spending his free time with his fiancé Cate and their yellow lab, Lute.

Luke Bland is a holistic financial planner and a Certified Financial Fiduciary offering 15+ years of industry experience. Before joining The Chamberlin Group, Luke worked for Fortune 500 companies including MetLife and Wells Fargo where he held a role as a Securities Trader and Financial Planner.

Luke is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University, Lumpkin School of Business and has a Bachelor of Science degree in Management. As an entrepreneur, Luke decided to leave the corporate world to start his financial firm where he specialized in financial planning and long-term care for Veterans.

Taking a holistic approach, he helps educate his clients about navigating taxes and income planning during retirement and planning for the unexpected.
