Born in Houston Texas and raised in the near by town of Pasadena, Dwight grew up in close-knit American family with loving parents, two brothers and one sister in a small two bedroom home. This instilled values that have enriched his life in every way. Hard work, respecting your parents, loving your family, loving our country and above all loving the Lord have opened a world that he could only imagine as a boy. "My father was strict but fair, always temporing discipline with love. Dad was all sports with a never quit rule we never broke. My mom stressed music, manners, helping in the kitchen, keeping yourself and your space clean, and always loving each other." After graduating from Pasadena High School, with an additional two years at San Jacinto Junior College, Dwight then went on to Napolean Hill Academy. It was there he received his teaching certificate and began a career in finance and sales. After ten years in finance with Universal CIT credit corportion, General Motors and Toyota he opened Dwight Lankford Consulting. For the next fifteen years he traveled all over the USA, Mexico, Brazil as well many other countries doing workouts for first the FDIC then the RTC. Dwight returned to Houston in 1992 and opened his present company Mid-America Estate and Insurance Services LLC. Mid-America now has over two thousand clients and over three hundred million dollars in safe money investments at work for his clients. In 2007, Dwight was named Financial Advisor of the Year by Senior Market Advisor Magazine. Dwight has been a keynote speaker at numerous conventions and made motivational presentations at too many others to mention. In November 2014, Dwight received the Noble Achivement Award one of the most prestiage awards given to Financials Professionals in the Insurance Industry.
