Stephen has spent time working in the financial services industry since 2005 with one goal in mind – to share his knowledge of comprehensive financial planning strategies to help educate individuals, families and business owners on these strategies to achieve financial success.
He believes he has the professional, moral, and ethical responsibility to educate with transparency throughout every step of his process. He also continues to educate himself so he can ensure he can stay at the forefront of financial planning.
Stephen’s professional licenses include a Series 7 and 66 Securities license, a Series 79 license, and a Life and Health Insurance license. He also holds the Certified Financial Fiduciary® (CFF®), the National Social Security Advisor® (NSSA®), and the Certified Family Business Specialist (CFBS) designation, and is a member of National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries® (NCAFF®).
The CFF® designates that certificates have successfully completed a rigorous certification and training process established by The National Association of Certified Financial Fiduciaries, and who agree to uphold high moral, ethical and fiduciary standards of service when providing advice to potential or existing clients. The program educates professional advisors about the laws, rules and regulations that determine when the individual is acting as a fiduciary.
The NSSA® designation is a nationally recognized standard of competent and ethical Social Security planning. It designates that certificates are able to provide thoughtful and strategic advice regarding the maximization of Social Security benefits for individuals and couples, to improve their financial security during retirement years. It is the only ACCREDITED Social Security Certificate program in the nation.
The CFBS designation educates financial professionals to help: understand the emotional issues confronted by owners contemplating a transition of their business, identify financial issues regarding succession planning, recognize tax and financial considerations regarding transitioning the business, and offer benefit plans to help attract and retain top talent. It provides a greater understanding of the financial needs of family business owners and gives its designees the ability to educate business owners on the importance of business succession and retirement planning and guide them towards achieving their goals.

And, no, if you are wondering, math is and was not his favorite subject!
