As a Manager Director at Rise North Capital (RNC), my leadership responsibilities include recruiting, selecting and directing the careers of deeply passionate Financial Representatives (FRs). FRs are taught to gain a thorough understanding of RNC product platform and services. New FRs develop and enhance their skills in our relationship-based process. The purpose is to educate the client so that they can make the most informed decisions. I support my team by working with them directly. Training them to recognize and effectively meet client needs. I give valuable feedback and training during our weekly coaching sessions. In addition, I assist FRs in designing and implementing the best marketing strategy that seeks to ensure that as advisors they become the best versions of themselves. Many of us were originally drawn to this industry so that we could help others. I was no different! My leadership and RNCs process help FRs fulfill that dream.

J. J. Mann is a Managing Director for Rise North Capital. Upon graduating with aBachelor’s degree from Baylor University, J. J. worked in numerous fields including advertising, government, and non-profits. He then entered the ministry and went on to found one of the largest faith-based radio, television and film production companies in the country. After seven years in the ministry, J. J. began to pursue his business aspirations. Upon entering graduate school, J. J. took an advisor position with New York Life in Austin, Texas. He received his MBA from The University of Texas at Austin and was quickly promoted to Partner with the New York Life Austin General Office the following year. Six years later, J. J. helped found the wealth management firm, Opes One Advisors. After fifteen years leading his Austin firms to unprecedented levels of success, J. J. brought his skills to the Boston area as a leader for the National Financial Network. an 2023, J. J. joined the leadership team of Rise North Capital. As an avid outdoor enthusiast, J. J. enjoys exploring the wilds of New England with his daughter, Grace, and his son, Emmett.
