Chad Golseth is president of Chadwick Financial, an independent firm specializing in
wealth management and income solutions. With over 28 years of experience in the
financial services industry.
Chad found his love of educating accidentally while serving in the US Marine Corps, where
he taught young Marines the basic fundamentals of Air Traffic Control. Post military service
while attending Mississippi State University, he again got a taste of teaching as an assistant
to the dean of business where he occasionally assisted in the classroom.
After graduation from MSU, Chad started his career as a Financial Advisor (FA) with Merrill
Lynch in Lafayette, LA. As he completed the FA training program in near record time, he
was tasked by management to teach incoming “rookie” advisors as they prepared to take
the Series 7 securities exam.
From there he began teaching Adult Education courses to the public on matters around
Financial Markets and Retirement Planning and has been doing so now for more than 25
years. Seeking an affiliation with AFEA was a natural attraction for him and he is excited to
share with you all the outstanding Educational Workshops that are offered to the public
through this platform!
Chad and his wife, Maria, live in Colleyville and have five children, a dog, two cats and two
horses that keep them busy all year around. He is involved in several ministries and helps
raise funds to support disabled youth and veterans. His hobbies include deer hunting,
skiing and playing golf.
