Matt Balsbaugh was born and raised in Mid Michigan and has been with Lori, his high school sweetheart for over 40 years. They are very proud of their two children, Hunter and Maddison along with Ryan, their son-in-law is also part of the firm.
Matt has two grandsons Wyatt and Weston. Matt believes in strong family values and feels blessed to have his
children, God-mother, and longtime family friend all working with him at the firm.
Matt began his financial career in 1988 in the insurance industry. Matt has a Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow [LUTCF*] professional designation that has been given jointly by The American College and the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors.Matt is very proud to be an Approved Member of the National Ethics Association.
When Matt established Compass Financial Associates L L and its team, he set out with an objective to help clients eliminate as much confusion as possible in planning their financial future.
