As Mobile Bay Financial Solutions’ co-founder, Virginia enjoys listening to her
clients describe their dream retirement and share their vision for the future.
Creating a plan that brings that vision to life is what she loves most.
From the time Virginia was 15 years old, she worked at Mobile Bay in the
summers helping her dad around the office. It was then that she fell in love with
financial advising. After graduating from college and working in the corporate
side of the insurance industry, Virginia joined Mobile Bay in 2012 as the fourth
generation of her family to call the company home.
Virginia has a Bachelor’s Degree in Consumer Sciences with a concentration in
Family Financial Planning from the University of Alabama. She was listed in
ThinkAdvisor.com’s 30 under 30 Advisors in 2015 and in Mobile Bay Monthly’s
40 under 40 in 2023.
Born and raised in Mobile, Alabama, Virginia married Grey O’Brien in 2016.
Together, they have two children: Neillie and Charlie. In her free time, Virginia
loves to travel with her family, cheer on the kids at the softball and baseball
fields and play tennis. She also loves to cook gourmet meals with Grey.
