Albert Wu is passionate about educating others on all things finance related. He is an active contributor to his community and serves on the board of Friends of Fairfax County Animal Shelter, the fundraising arm for the animal shelter. He also serves as a Trustee for ServiceSource Foundation, where 99 cents of every dollar goes to supporting individuals with disabilities, and their families. Albert lives with his wife Tanya, and their two children, Liam (3) and Evelyn (5), in Oakton, Virginia. He enjoys traveling (Italy being his favorite place to visit), wine tasting, attending concerts and going to the beach. Albert runs a financial planning practice in Reston, where he and his two team members, Shannon Wilson and Lindsey Sullivan, serve individuals, families and entrepreneurs in creating comprehensive financial plans around retirement, estates, taxes, investments and insurance. They specialize in assisting and guiding those who are making the transition into retirement, and they enjoy coming up with creative solutions to help people remove uncertainties in their financial picture.
