Keith Helmendach is a graduate of Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee. Keith met his wife in graduate school in Chicago, and they agreed to start their careers and their family in Charlotte, NC.
They have been serving the area for over 30 years and have raised 4 children who are now adults.
Keith has served as a Rotary Club president on 2 separate occasions, in Matthews and Mint Hill. He has given talks and lectures for over 30 years on the subjects of health and finance, including several years on his 30-minute weekly radio show on WHVN.
Keith, having crossed the age of 60, enjoys educating seniors and soon-to-be seniors on a variety of financial topics, including To 75 & Beyond, Understanding Medicare, The Importance of Irrevocable Trusts, and Tax-Free Retirement Facts and Falsehoods…to name a few.
Keith’s father served as a Captain in the U.S. Army. He and his wife have 3 sons serving in the Armed Forces currently. This has instilled a passion to work with young military families, planning for their best future, and retired service members, ensuring their healthy and financially-fit retirement.
Keith feels that basic financial education and financial literacy is lacking throughout our society today. He’s committed to doing his part to change that.
