James founded Rea Financial with one goal in mind: To create significance in the lives of the families he serves. Rea Financial uses proven retirement strategies that cover the five key areas of the financial planning process. Through education and proper planning, James and his team provide the confidence and clarity clients need to spend less time worrying and more time enjoying the things they love most during retirement.
For the last 25-plus years, James has worked in the financial services industry as a consultant and educator, teaching thousands of students and retirees. Through his financial guidance and Purpose-Driven Retirement Plan™ process, many of his students have become clients and lifelong friends.
James is a Certified Financial Fiduciary® and always operates with his clients’ best interests in mind. Additionally, he is an American Financial Education Alliance (AFEA) coach and their current Orlando chapter president.
James has been married to Kristina (Kris), his wife and best friend, for more than 29 years. Together, they have four children, two sons-in-law and three grandchildren. In his free time, James enjoys spending time with Kris and their family. He also stays active with the occasional basketball game, golfing and long distance running. He feels it’s important to enjoy life to the fullest by eating healthfully, exercising and living a life that’s pleasing to the Lord.
