Kenny Hawthorne serves as a Loan Officer for Texas Fairway Reverse, a specialty group within Fairway Independent Mortgage Corporation serving seniors across the state of Texas, and he also serves as the State Director for the Workforce Housing Alliance, a non-profit organization dedicated to educating both professionals and consumers on the history and use of Home Equity Conversion (Reverse) Mortgages.
"I was looking for an organization that was both committed to excellence in the marketplace, but also committed to personal and corporate integrity,” said Kenny Hawthorne, who joined Fairway Mortgage as a Reverse Mortgage Specialist. Kenny transitioned from a corporate leadership position where he served as Vice-President of a regional Home Healthcare Agency and more recently as Senior Vice-President of a National Home Healthcare Software Company. “I have seen firsthand how Texas seniors struggle with managing home health expenses and the value of HECM (Home Equity Conversion Mortgages) in supporting that requirement.
As state director for WHA (Workforce Housing Alliance) he focuses on educational events helping senior homeowners and business professionals across the state of Texas understand how a Home Equity Conversion Mortgage can help preserve, protect and extend the life of individuals’ retirement resources
