Roland started his career at Ernst and Young LLP. Following that, he has held various positions in high-tech, retail, consulting, and finance industries. Roland was the youngest founding Board Member of Tri-Valley Bank, a commerical business bank in the East Bay. During that time, he served on the Investment, Loan, and Audit Committees. He has experience with a number of different asset classes including real estate, alternatives, derivatives, and equities. He was previously at The SAS Institute implementing advanced analytics for Fortune 500 companies which he now applies to the financial markets. He is also an investor/advisor to several fintech (financial technology) startups and realtech (real estate technology) companies. Roland currently sits on the Board for LIFE ElderCare and the Silicon Valley Chapter of AAII. He is a graduate of UC Berkeley. He finds inspiration through his faith and loving support of his family. His passions and interests include entrepreneurship, business, and the financial markets.
