AFEA Welcomes New Chapter President


 Walpole, MA October 27, 2015- The American Financial Education Alliance, a national advocate for greater financial literacy, announced today that its Board of Directors unanimously voted to name Michael Graff as the new Chapter President of AFEA’s Walpole, MA Chapter.

Bringing 31 years of experience to the Chapter, Michael graduated from the University of Massachusetts with his BA in Political Science. Michael has also worked as an Investment Advisor Representative and has gained much experience dealing with Residential & Commercial Mortgages and Reverse Mortgages. Life, Disability, Long-Term Care Insurance, and securities including Mutual Funds and Variable Products. He also has past experience with National Association of Mortgage Brokers, Massachusetts Association of Mortgage Brokers & Correspondent Lenders, Metrosouth Chamber of Commerce, Wellesley Chamber of Commerce, and Tri-town Chamber of Commerce. Michael is involved in Youth Baseball and Basketball as a coach. He has served as a chairperson for the Easton Recycling Committee and a board member for the Foundation for Excellence in Education in Easton. He is also the founder and director of the Sunday morning softball men’s league.

 AFEA is thrilled to have Michael join us in our mission to empower Americans to take control of their finances by providing educational classes and workshops in communities nationwide.

As Chapter President, Michael will be hosting free financial education workshops throughout the community. The Walpole Chapter will also be fundraising to support other local charities including The Society for Financial Awareness. Fifteen percent of all funds raised by AFEA will be donated to local charities with similar missions and causes within the chapter area.
