AFEA Welcomes New Chapter President

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 Overland Park, KS October 13, 2015- The American Financial Education Alliance, a national advocate for greater financial literacy, announced today that its Board of Directors unanimously voted to name William Ehlers as the new Chapter President of AFEA’s Overland Park, KS Chapter.

Bringing 9 years of experience to the Chapter, Bill graduated from the University Nebraska with a bachelor in science-economics. Bill is dedicated to continually furthering his knowledge and expertise by attending training sessions around the country with top financial experts and social security advisors. In his leisure time, Bill enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is an avid walker and also enjoys Kansas City Royals baseball and Kansas Jayhawk basketball. Bill also spends time in charitable activities and volunteering for his church.

 AFEA is thrilled to have Bill join us in our mission to empower Americans to take control of their finances by providing educational classes and workshops in communities nationwide.

As Chapter President, Bill will be hosting free financial education workshops throughout the community. The Overland Park Chapter will also be fundraising to support other local charities including The Society for Financial Awareness. Fifteen percent of all funds raised by AFEA will be donated to local charities with similar missions and causes within the chapter area.
