AFEA Welcomes New Chapter President


 Wellington, FL October 12, 2015- The American Financial Education Alliance, a national advocate for greater financial literacy, announced today that its Board of Directors unanimously voted to name Thomas Deem as the new Chapter President of AFEA’s Wellington, FL Chapter.

Bringing 21 years of experience to the Chapter, Thomas graduated from the University of Phoenix with an AA in business. Thomas is very involved in high school programs and has spent 21 years as an official in both high school football and high school soccer.

AFEA is thrilled to have Thomas join us in our mission to empower Americans to take control of their finances by providing educational classes and workshops in communities nationwide.

As Chapter President, Thomas will be hosting free financial education workshops throughout the community. The Wellington Chapter will also be fundraising to support other local charities including The Society for Financial Awareness. Fifteen percent of all funds raised by AFEA will be donated to local charities with similar missions and causes within the chapter area.
