Norman, OK, August 10, 2015 - The American Financial Education Alliance, a national advocate for greater financial literacy, announced today that its Board of Directors unanimously voted to name Rod Moore as the new Chapter President of AFEA’s Norman, OK Chapter.

Bringing 25 years of experience to the Chapter, Rod is critically aware of the need for financial education and awareness, and enjoys giving his time to participate with AFEA to reach those seeking information. Rod enjoys seeing attendees gain confidence, and feels strongly that the AFEA tools help students make more efficient financial decisions, as well as create a framework by which students can better choose strategies and options that may help them reach their goals, creating peace of mind and contentment along the way. Rod's vast expertise, sense of humor, and sharp presentation skills provide for an enjoyable and valuable course experience.

AFEA is thrilled to have Rod join us in our mission to empower Americans to take control of their finances by providing educational classes and workshops in communities nationwide.

As Chapter President, Rod will be hosting free financial education workshops throughout the community. The Norman Chapter will also be fundraising to support other local charities including The Society for Financial Awareness.
