AFEA Welcomes New Chapter President

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Stafford, VA, March 1st, 2015- The American Financial Education Alliance, a national advocate for greater financial literacy education in U.S. schools, announced today that its Board of Directors unanimously voted to name Nora Hartquist as the new Chapter President of AFEA’s Stafford, VA Chapter.

Bringing over 30 years of experience to the Chapter, Nora, a graduate of Louisiana State University, is excited to be a part of the AFEA team.

AFEA is thrilled to have Nora join us in our in our mission to empower Americans to take control of their finances by providing educational classes and workshops in communities nationwide.

As Chapter President, Nora will be hosting free financial education workshops throughout the Stafford community. The Stafford Chapter will also be fundraising to support other local charities. Fifteen percent of all funds raised by AFEA will be donated to local charities with similar missions and causes within the chapter area.
