AFEA Welcomes New Chapter President

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

 

Centennial Hills, NV, April 4, 2016 - The American Financial Education Alliance, a national advocate for greater financial literacy, announced today that its Board of Directors unanimously voted to name Richard Jacobs as the new Chapter President of AFEA’s Centennial Hills Chapter.

 

Bringing 32 years of experience to the Chapter, Dick, a graduate of Indiana University with his Masters of Science Sports Administration, and also a graduate of Colorado State University with his Bachelors of Science and Physical Education. Dick is a retired career agent with the Principal Financial Group, LUTCF (Life Underwriter Training Council Fellow) and LILI (Leadership in Life Institute). He is an ongoing C.E. & certification in various financial services such as NAIFA (National Association of Insurance & Financial Advisors) Dick is excited about using AFEA to give back to his local community.

 

AFEA is thrilled to have Dick join us in our mission to empower Americans to take control of their finances by providing educational classes and workshops in communities nationwide.

 

As Chapter President, Dick will be hosting free financial education workshops throughout the Centennial Hills community. The Centennial Hills Chapter will also be fundraising to support other local charities. Fifteen percent of all funds raised by AFEA will be donated to local charities with similar missions and causes within the chapter area. Dick has nominated Junior Achievement to receive all 15% of the funds raised. Junior Achievement is a non-profit organization that brings the real world to students through hands-on curriculum delivered by a trained classroom volunteer
