AFEA Welcomes New Chapter President

Crown Point, IN, April 4, 2016 - The American Financial Education Alliance, a national advocate for greater financial literacy, announced today that its Board of Directors unanimously voted to name Wayne Sisk as the new Chapter President of AFEA’s Crown Point Chapter.

 

Bringing 40+ years of experience to the Chapter, Wayne graduated from South Suburban Community College with his AA in Business Administration, Moody Bible Institute with his BA in Church Music, and VanderCook College of Music with a Masters in Music Education. Wayne is a certified NSSA member. Wayne spends much of his free time at church, he is on the Leadership team at his local church and the Class Administrator for Bible Study Fellowship men's class. Wayne is excited about using AFEA to give back to his local community.

 

AFEA is thrilled to have Wayne join us in our mission to empower Americans to take control of their finances by providing educational classes and workshops in communities nationwide.

 

As Chapter President, Wayne will be hosting free financial education workshops throughout the Crown Point community. The Crown Point Chapter will also be fundraising to support other local charities. Fifteen percent of all funds raised by AFEA will be donated to local charities with similar missions and causes within the chapter area. Wayne has nominated Woodlands Community Church to receive all 15% of the funds raised. The Woodlands Community Church of the Nazarene is a Church of the Nazarene church in The Woodlands.
